MEET THE MANAGERS

ZYKIA HUGHES

  • The website manager is responsible for ensuring StudentMade UTPB’s website is up to date with the latest products and collections. From uploading products, creating special collections, and generating shipping labels, your website manager, Zykia, is getting it done!

  • 2024 + Psychology/Multicultural Studies

  • I'm excited to be the Student-Made Website Manager because it is a great opportunity and a new experience for me that allows me to work with others in a way that I feel I will really be making an impact. I was motivated to apply in hopes to have something new to look forward to in the new year, new semester, and all in all it sounded like a great opportunity.

ROYALTY OYEWOLE

  • This manager directs the financial operations of their campus branch, ensuring that all fundamental accounting tasks are executed consistently and timely. They also are responsible for organizing, analyzing and reporting on data to provide helpful strategies on ways for participating business to grow their sales on the marketplace.

  • 2025 + Accounting

  • I hope this experience allows me to gain more knowledge in my field of accounting. I am excited to have more work experience and be able to learn to work as a team among others. I hope this program will motivate our campus community to want to apply in the future for this roles in Student-Made!

EMILY MUSCROFT

  • This manager works to organize, support and engage the Student-Made community on campus. Emily oversees all functions of Student-Made within UTPB campus. Gain experience through organizing tasks and goals, managing progress, and leading growth and development.

  • 2024 + Fine Arts

  • I wanted to be the community engagement manager because I have had such a fantastic experience with this community that I wanted to give others the same experience. It can be a lot when becoming a creator, so being able to help new creators along in the process has been an extremely rewarding position to be in!

MARISSA EQUINIONES

  • This manager develops and executes pop-ups and promotional events. They organize, plan and share a calendar of events, monitor sign-ups, and ensure events are executed successfully.

  • I am so excited to be Student Made’s new Events and Partnership Manager as I really believe it will help me engage and bond with the community, along with networking, and giving our creators the most diverse and engaging outlet to share their products with the Permian Basin!
